"Blessed are YOU when people insult YOU, persecute YOU and falsely say all kinds of evil against YOU because of ME."

Jesus told His disciples both then and now "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." (John 14:27). If we want to be people of peace, we first must experience the peace of God in our lives and then share that peace with others.
