All through the scriptures we get to see how our God is a God of Peace. He is the source of peace, the maker of peace and the one that gives lasting peace in our lives. Jesus told His disciples both then and now "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." (John 14:27). If we want to be people of peace, we first must experience the peace of God in our lives and then share that peace with others.
