Paul's message in this passage is a challenge for us about the call Christ places on His church and the members, a call to character, unity of faith, Christ's authority, diversity of gifting, maturity and love.

Some may fear a message from God, like the shepherds hearing the news of Jesus, but this initial fear turned out to be a blessing in the birth of Jesus and so it is with us. We need to disrupt our lives to spend more time with God and know that when we cry out to Him, we do not need to be afraid - we are talking to someone who loves us. Don't give up in asking God for His provision if His response is not in your timing - we need to continue to trust in Him. What do you need a loving giving Father to disrupt in your life for the better?

Leading up to this passage we see how the disciples have been right amongst the miracles of Jesus and this passage is no exception - they saw God on the move. Passage: Daniel 1:1-21
Duration: 43 mins 50 secs
The message in Daniel shows us how we can live our lives, despite the parameters we find ourselves in. As Christians, our mission in life is not just survival but to believe that God is in control of all situations, no matter what parameters we find ourselves in. We need to put our faith into action to impact others around us and expect the unexpected from God.

Walk forward from what we are to what we will be. And pedal...

Passage: Mark 12:28-34
Duration: 46 mins 24 secs
Living out whole Christianity means embodying the greatest commandment. There are three postures that describe what this looks like: standing firm - using all our mind; kneeling - using all our heart and soul; and running - using all our strength. We need to stand in truth, wisdom, our thought life and choices. This is foundational. We also need to kneel before God in surrender and intimacy. Finally, we need to serve our neighbours, engaging our tithe, time and talents to reach the unloved, unreached and unknown.
