In this passage, Paul is saying that we must be caring for those in the faith, but here he gives a warning about how we accept and judge others. The key verse in v.8 is "If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord". First and foremost, we belong to Jesus and it is to Him that we will have to give an account.
