Hi my name is Phil Irvine and I’m the Pastor at Emu Plains Community Baptist Church. My family and I moved all the way from the Blue Mountains and to live in the community here in Emu Plains. Jesus said “I have come that you may have life, and have it to the full.” Sometimes we find that our lives are so full with things to do, but we don’t seem to be fulfilled. I enjoy running, spending time with my family, playing Xbox and a good coffee. But what fills my life is Jesus. If you are wanting your life full, the best it can be, why not check out Jesus and take him up on this promise?

At the beginning of Chapter 9 we saw God's attributes of Faithfulness and Righteousness coming through. In the second part of this chapter, we will consider His Justice and Grace. For it is only by the grace of God, seen in Jesus, that enables us to stand.

At the start of Chapter 20, Jesus has been exercising the disciple's faith, in that He has risen from the grave. Now He wants them to believe that He truly is the Messiah, the Son of God. He does this by coming to them and reassuring them that He is alive and then commissions them to tell the world about the forgiveness that was accomplished by His death on the cross and proven by His resurrection from the grave.
