In this passage, Solomon gives fatherly advice to his son and instructs him on three types of people to avoid becoming. First, the one who makes foolish promises of repaying a loan of another that they can't repay. Second, someone who is lazy and unproductive and third, a person who is a liar. We too would do well to listen to God's warning to us.
