The Good Samaritan
Sunday, 12 June 2022
by
Don Hewitt
Passage:
Luke 10:25-37
Duration:
30 mins 25 secs
The Good Samaritan is a familiar bible passage many of us have probably heard numerous times. When approaching the injured man on the side of the road, the priest allowed the law take priority over his care for the man and passed by. Likewise, the Levite didn't want to take the risk, played it safe and also passed the man by. It was only the Samaritan that showed compassion. In looking at our own situation, who do you currently identify with and who would you like to identify with - the injured man, the priest, the Levite, the Samaritan or the the inn keeper?

Sunday, 24 April 2022
by
Phil Irvine
Passage:
John 15:9-5:17
Duration:
18 mins 14 secs
Today we remember the sacrifice that the ANZAC's made as they gave their lives so that others may have freedom and peace. Jesus said "Greater love has no one than this: than to lay down one's life for one's friends". The picture we see in the ANZAC's finds its fulfilment in Jesus, as he gives His life so that all can find freedom from their sin and everlasting peace that only He can bring.
