As we look forward to Christmas coming for this year we are looking at the prophecies of Isaiah that look forward to the Messiah coming. The prophecies are concerned with who He is and what He came to do. In this passage, we see the promise of the virgin conceiving and giving birth to a Son. Through this Son, fears are released and victory is won. And what does God want of us? To stand firm in our faith.
