The prodical son in this parable that Jesus told is foolish with the wealth that was given to him by his father, but when things turn bad for him, he showed humility and repentance when he returned to his father, not expecting to be anymore than one of his father's servants. We live in a world where rebellion is shown in all areas of life with people challenging authority over them. God is the ultimate authority for this world, so what is the price in showing rebellion towards God - we miss out on the fullness of life that God can offer us here on earth. Are you caught up in the world so much that you don't have time for God? God came to save the rebellious. When we turn our lives over to Him, God welcomes us with open arms.
