GENR8
GENR8 is our program for those in Junior School, that is, from Kindy to Year 6. It runs every Sunday morning during school term as part of the morning worship service at EPCBC. The children spend the first part of the service with the rest of the EPCBC family, enjoying and contributing to the singing, prayer and other components of the service. Then, while Pastor Steve is bringing the message from God's Word for the adults, the children head out to GENR8 to interact with God's Word in a context that is both more familiar and more appropriate to their stage of development. The programs often involve fun activities and craft and are facilitated by a team that is headed up by Mrs. Coralie White, our GENR8 Co-Ordinator. If you are in junior school, then GENR8 is for kids just like you. If you'd like to know more about GENR8, you can contact Coralie through the Church Office . RAYD8 RAYD8 is our ministry to those attending high school. Meeting each Friday night of school terms, RAYD8 combines games and fun activities with a brief "God talk". Included in the program are also occasional trips to Back 2 Basics, which are large youth events organised by Baptist Youth Ministries, and the now legendary pilgrimage to Black Stump, the Christian youth music extravaganza that is held on the October long weekend each year. RAYD8 is loads of fun and a great opportunity to meet people and build friendships. If you're attending high school, then this ministry is specifically aimed at you! It is faciliated by a team of leaders, headed up by Elise Cox, our RAYD8 Co-Ordinator. You can contact Elise via the Church Office . MN8MN8 is our young adults group that meets most Sunday evenings from 6pm through until around 9:00pm. MN8 operates as a small, home-based group, and is aimed specifically at those that have left high school and either entered the work force or are continuing their studies at a higher education institution. The group is facilitated by Rev. Steve Turnbull and sometimes consists of a shared meal together, a visual presentation, and then a discussion on that presentation. At other times, the group operates along the lines of a traditional home group or Bible study group. If you are aged between 18 and 26, then this group specifically caters for your peers. There are those in the group that are still finding their feet in their journey of faith, while there are others that have been journeying most of their lives. However, everyone is both permitted and encouraged to bring their thoughts, ideas and experiences into the mix in a non-threatening environment. For more information, please contact Rev. Steve Turnbull.
